Mission:

21 Ministries creates a Christ-centered community where people of all ages grow in faith, serve with purpose, and live out their calling—together.

About:

We believe ministry is not confined to a sanctuary or a Sunday morning—it’s a way of life. 21 Ministries is a Christ-centered, non-denominational organization dedicated to cultivating spaces where spiritual formation happens through education, creativity, hospitality, and everyday obedience to Christ.

Our model may look different from traditional church structures, but it is no less rooted in worship. We do not replace Sunday worship—we deepen it. Through hands-on teaching, purposeful gathering, and faith-driven service, we help people integrate their faith into every part of life. Whether through learning, creating, mentoring, or serving, our work exists to glorify God and build His Kingdom.

Ministry at 21 is holistic. A lesson, a meal, a rehearsal, or a conversation around the table can all be acts of worship when done with intention and love. We believe God has entrusted us with this space—residential or otherwise—to nurture the next generation of believers and prepare them to be salt and light in every sphere of influence.

The name 21 Ministries carries a profound dual meaning. We are called to activate the 21st-century Church—a Church that ministers beyond four walls, into neighborhoods, homes, and everyday life. But for our family, “21” is also sacred. It honors the life of Peyton, our beloved son and brother, who passed away at the age of 21 on February 21, 2016. What was once a painful number has become a symbol of purpose, redemption, and the power of reclaiming legacy for God’s glory. It reminds us daily that ministry is deeply personal—and that beauty can come from brokenness.

“Let every skillful craftsman whom the Lord has put skill and intelligence to know how to do any work... come and do all that the Lord has commanded.” – Exodus 36:1

Religious Justification Statement

21 Ministries is a nonprofit religious organization operating as a place of worship. All ministry activities—whether educational, artistic, instructional, or service-oriented—are expressions of our religious beliefs and are essential to the practice and advancement of our faith.

We believe that:

  • Worship is a way of life, not a time slot.
Our faith teaches that glorifying God happens not only in corporate Sunday gatherings, but also in how we live, teach, serve, and create each day.

  • Education is discipleship.
Teaching children and adults about the world through a biblical lens is a sacred act. Academic instruction and faith formation are not separate disciplines, but integrated forms of worship and ministry.

  • Creativity is a spiritual gift.
We believe the arts are a God-given way to reflect truth, beauty, and goodness. Through music, drama, visual storytelling, and performance, we disciple believers and share the Gospel with our community.

  • Hospitality is holy.
Providing meals, hosting families, and creating spaces for connection and encouragement are part of the biblical call to serve “the least of these.” These acts are not services or transactions—they are ministry.

  • Gathering in community is central to faith.
Our programs bring people together in intentional ways to encourage, teach, and build one another up in Christ. Whether it’s a classroom discussion, rehearsal, workday, or shared meal, these gatherings are a lived-out form of worship and Christian fellowship.

These convictions are not incidental—they are foundational to our faith practice. Everything we do is done in response to our understanding of God’s Word, and our belief that every person is called to minister in their daily life.

Place of Worship

We use our property as a place of worship—dedicated to the glory of God and the spiritual development of those who gather here. While our structure may not resemble a traditional sanctuary, the purpose and function of the space are deeply religious. Our worship takes the form of teaching, creating, serving, and community gathering, all of which are protected expressions of religious exercise under the First Amendment and the federal Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA).

At 21 Ministries, each program leader or founder holds a seat on the Board of Directors, contributing to the overall growth, expansion, and operations of the ministry.
